This document contains a journal article that examines the role of therapeutic jurisprudence (TJ) in Healing to Wellness Courts. In Part I, the authors define healing to wellness courts as tribal renditions of drug courts and describe the connection or relationship to TJ and offer a short review of common challenges in healing to wellness court planning and operations as well as highlight a few choices and ideas that some courts exploited that show innovation, imagination, and resolve in the fight against substance abuse and addiction. In Part II, the authors describe and discuss what they see and deem the plus: spirituality.
