This document contains a fact sheet delineating information about the importance of establishing drug courts that have recovery-oriented systems that will benefit the participants of the programs in the long term. The goal of this is to show the various forms of this tool to think about the ways that Drug Court programs are building bridges to the recovery community and providing opportunities for individuals to achieve and sustain their recovery from addiction. By having a recovery orientation , it increases one’s ability to be successful in getting individuals the support they need while they are in your program and as they transition into the community.
