This document contains a process evaluation report of the Montgomery County Adult Drug Court (Circuit Court) that was conducted by NPC Research. The current contract includes a series of technical assistance assessments, process evaluations, and cost and outcome studies. The program meets many of the 10 key components for drug courts through its current policies and program structure. The drug court has an integrated treatment and judicial team, it uses a non-adversarial approach—prosecution and defense counsel promote public safety while protecting participants’ due process rights, the type and frequency of treatment services offered to MCADC participants are in line with those found to have positive results, and the drug court offers ongoing judicial interaction with each drug court participant. The evaluation also provides recommendations on how they can better their program, which can be found within the document.
