Resource Description

This document is a study of offenders in Oregon that were convicted of Measure 57 Offenses. These offenders voluntarily agreed to participate and the researchers collected data through a process evaluation of the four sites, interviews to get participant experience, outcome evaluations from administrative records, and cost analysis. The study found that the four sites had implemented a majority of the best practices, the treatment group had a smaller percentage of new charges, and the average cost per participant was about $22,917.

Note: Not all sample operational and programmatic documents in the NDCRC clearinghouse library have been reviewed for best practice standards.
