St. Louis County 2024 Mental Health Court Conference

May 7 - May 9

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness and Treatment Court Month, the St. Louis County Mental Health Courts will hold their annual conference. The conference will take place Tuesday-Thursday, May 7-9th, 2024. This is the only nationwide conference style training available specifically to Mental Health Courts across the nation, providing connection opportunities between criminal justice and mental health professionals from across the world together, in one virtual forum. The demand to attend this conference continues to grow. The 2023 Conference had the largest audience to date, with over 300 people registered to attend. The popularity of this conference is evidence of the tremendous impact mental health courts have had on our communities and the health and well-being of our state and nation. This year’s conference will include three wonderful speakers, Dr. Brian L. Meyer discussing overdoses and suicides in our courts, Dr. Donald Linhorst presenting on the challenges and opportunities of assisting individuals with developmental disorders in our courts, and Eric Olson, LCPC presenting on the importance of intentionality when managing difficult issues such as legalized marijuana and relationships. Each speaker will be presenting virtually on zoom from 12p-2p CST.
